A Derbyshire Delight - By Frank Byrne This lovely Farmhouse B & B Has everything that we desire Moureen and Vince's cosy cottage I s our ideal place to retire We stumbled on this little gem A s we looked for a place to stay The culmination of a two hour search Fold Farm took our breath away A meal we enjoyed that evening In a friendly local pub Washed down with a pint of Guinness Mmm, such lovely grub We finally snuggled down at last To rest our weary heads And had a really lovely sleep On the comfiest of all beds Then up bright and early in the morn To start another beautiful day A hearty breakfast we both enjoyed To send us on our way A tune played on his Father's accordian As we munched our breakfast toast Mary and I were so enthralled The Major really was the perfect host Now I will end this little tribute I had better call it time Because I could go on forever Putting words into a rhyme FRANK AND MARY BYRNE
